Fireside Feelings, a cozy conversational campfire game developed by Team Empreintes and published by The CoLab, is now available for PC on Steam. The game aims to provide a serene escape from modern life's complexities, encouraging heartfelt conversations among players. Players can customize avatars from six animal options and engage in discussions guided by a sentient campfire named Spark, who poses thought-provoking questions. The game prioritizes player safety by anonymizing responses and using a moderated database for conversations. Players can also avoid sensitive topics by customizing discussion parameters. Additionally, the developers have partnered with Safe In Our World to support mental health awareness, providing resources within the game.

Google is developing a new feature for its app that will include an "Images" tab, similar to Pinterest. This feature will allow users to select topics of interest, such as "Women’s fashion," "Food & Drink," and "Home Decor," to receive a personalized feed of curated images. Users can interact with images by sharing, saving, or using Google Lens for further exploration, and they can hide images that do not match their preferences. The feature is still in development, and early tests show a mix of images across various topics rather than strictly adhering to user-selected interests.

Meta has introduced Teen Accounts on Facebook and Messenger to create a safer online environment for younger users by limiting exposure to inappropriate content. The feature is currently being rolled out in the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada, with plans for expansion to more regions. This initiative follows the introduction of Teen Accounts on Instagram last year in response to scrutiny from US lawmakers about protective measures for adolescents.
