Retro enthusiast injects Snake game into vintage S3 graphics card VBIOS — enjoy some serpentum fun while your old PC boots

A retro PC enthusiast modified the VBIOS of an S3 ViRGE DX graphics card to include a version of the classic game Snake, allowing users to play it briefly during system boot. This project, by the YouTube channel Bits und Bolts, involved embedding Snake 512, a compact game written in x86 assembly language. The modification includes a dynamic text splash screen displaying the GPU's operating frequency and prompts users to play Snake or skip to the boot process. The implementation does not support USB keyboards and has no sound during gameplay. The enthusiast also customized the game's colors using hexadecimal values from the VGA color palette.

Each attendee is allowed only one cape, but there is no limit on the total number of capes distributed. To collect Emerald Stickers, attendees must engage in sessions labeled with “Minecraft Emerald” or participate in activities at the Minecraft Arena. Stickers can be placed in the Inventory Ribbon, which has three slots and can be collected at the Swag Bag kiosk. After collecting the stickers, attendees can redeem their cape at the Cape Trader in the Minecraft Village within the Arena. A wristband scan and verification of the completed ribbon are required to receive a Cape Card with a unique in-game code. How to get Conduit Crystal in Subnautica 2

Conduit Crystals are essential for enhancing tools with the Feedback Resonator or Bioscanner upgrade in Subnautica 2. Players need five crystals for crafting, and they can be found primarily beneath the Alien Power Plant and on ledges near alien structures. Each crystal node resembles coral and requires the Sonic Resonator for harvesting. An additional crystal is located below the first, within the crater of the Angel Comb. Heading northeast from the Angel Comb and following the purple tube down the ravine leads to two more crystals on the right, near luminescent green pools. Players can also scan the Feedback Resonator at this location.
