China’s National Press and Publication Administration (NPPA) has approved 184 online games for November 2025, including six imported games and 178 domestic titles, marking the highest number of Chinese-made games approved in nearly five years. In total, the NPPA has granted 1,624 game licenses in 2025, surpassing the total for 2024. Notable among the approvals is Tencent’s PUBG Mobile, which has introduced a PC version.
