Dr Disrespect says messaging minor on Twitch led to his ban

Streamer Guy "Dr Disrespect" Beahm engaged in inappropriate conversations with a minor on Twitch's Whisper messaging service, leading to his ban in 2020. Despite admitting to the conversations veering into inappropriate territory, Beahm clarified that no illegal activities occurred, no pictures were shared, and he never met the individual in person. He went through a civil dispute arbitration with Twitch, which was resolved through a settlement with no criminal charges brought against him. Beahm denied being a predator or pedophile and expressed his disgust at being labeled as such. His studio, Midnight Society, cut ties with him following reports of the inappropriate messages.
