Ultrakill has undergone a significant visual overhaul, enhancing nearly every level except the recently added four-level layer of Violence from 2023. Lead developer Arsi "Hakita" Patala showcased the revamped aesthetics of level 1-1, Heart of the Sunrise, and confirmed that while some functional changes may occur, the core geometry and layouts will remain largely intact. A comparison video highlights improvements, including a newly overhauled skybox in layer 2, Lust, which now features a fully rendered 3D city instead of a flat texture. The grotesque atmosphere of Gluttony has been enhanced with new assets, and level 4-3 Ship of Fools has received detailed upgrades. The update also includes two remixed "encore" levels with significantly increased difficulty. Ultrakill is currently available at a 33% discount as part of New Blood's 11th anniversary sale on Steam.

Eyeblossom flowers in Minecraft come in two variants: Open and Closed. Closed Eyeblossoms appear gray and upright during the day, while at night they bloom to reveal a glowing orange eye. Players can craft suspicious stews from these flowers, with the Open variant producing a stew that causes Blindness and the Closed variant causing Nausea. Eyeblossoms can also be used to create dyes: Open Eyeblossoms yield Orange dye and Closed Eyeblossoms yield Gray dye. Additionally, Eyeblossoms can communicate with each other when within a 3-block radius, sending out orange particles to signal blooming or closing. In bee-friendly environments, Open Eyeblossoms attract bees at night, which become poisoned upon contact for 1.25 seconds, although they can still pollinate the flowers.

David Szymanski is developing a first-person horror game titled Butcher's Creek, which focuses on melee combat and features a narrative involving torture cultists in rural Appalachia. The game draws inspiration from classic horror titles, particularly Condemned: Criminal Origins. It includes elements of dark humor, with quirky interactions among cult members. The demo showcases melee mechanics, though players have noted that the cultists could be more aggressive. The game is set to be released in January, and players can currently explore the demo and add it to their Steam wishlists.
