Minecraft 1.22 is speculated to be released around June 2025, following the historical timeline of previous updates. The update may focus on the End dimension, potentially named the End Update, with new mobs, biomes, and features. Possible new mobs include passive mounts and hostile airborne creatures. The existing biomes in the End may be revamped, with potential additions like a forest biome and dangerous terrain. Expected features include new items, armor trims, enchantments, and a new structure for loot. The community is also discussing the possibility of a Biome Update instead.
