Microsoft Edge offers an "Efficiency mode" to extend battery life on portable devices like laptops and tablets. The latest version of Edge integrates the Energy Saver feature, potentially automatically enabling Efficiency mode when Energy Saver mode is active on your PC. Edge also includes a Resource Control feature to allocate a specific amount of memory to the browser, helping to limit RAM usage. Microsoft is promoting Edge and encouraging users to switch from Chrome on Windows 11.
