Granblue Fantasy PC Version Heading to Steam Worldwide

Cygames announced that Granblue Fantasy will launch an English version on Steam on March 10, 2026. This release will be independent of the existing browser and mobile versions, and accounts from those platforms will not carry over. One of the best RPGs of all time is getting its ‘first ever unofficial DLC’ that adds a whole new region and restores cut content

Planescape: Torment is a classic computer role-playing game (CRPG) known for its unique setting, characters, and dialogue-focused gameplay. A group of Polish modders is developing an expansion for the game that will introduce two new recruitable characters, new planar creatures, original music, and fresh cinematics. They will also restore cut content, including voice lines and graphical features. The narrative will focus on the main characters and draw from the 2nd edition of Dungeons & Dragons. The full project may not be completed until 2031, but the first act is expected to be released later this year with an estimated playtime of twelve hours. The expansion, titled Blizzard in Baator, will be available in English and Polish, with some variations in naming conventions from the original English version.

Webtoon Series The Player Who Can’t Level Up Gets Console, PC Game

Tripearl Games is developing a video game adaptation of the webtoon "The Player Who Can't Level Up," set for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will utilize Unreal Engine 5, featuring no loading screens and complete camera control. It includes a new side story created with the original webtoon creators, focusing on the protagonist Ki-gyu Kim, who navigates challenges without traditional leveling systems. The gameplay features roguelite elements, high-speed melee combat, perk-based progression, and randomized upgrades. The webtoon, illustrated by Tae_A, began serialization in 2021 and has over 210 million views worldwide. D3 Publisher’s Next Otome PC Game Is Despera Drops

D3 Publisher has announced the release of the otome visual novel Despera Drops on Steam, scheduled for May 27, 2025. The game was originally launched in Japan in 2023 and later released globally on the Nintendo Switch, with Aksys Games handling the English version for the console. The PC version is developed by Wizardsoft Corporation, with Red Entertainment responsible for the console adaptation. Japan orders Google to unwind deals with smartphone OEMs

Japan’s Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) has ordered Google to stop certain business practices related to its Android operating system, specifically the Mobile Application Distribution Agreements (MADAs) that required manufacturers to pre-install specific Google applications. The JFTC found that these agreements violate Japan’s Antimonopoly Act, stifling competition and creating market barriers. Google must cease mandating pre-installation of its applications, allow installation of competing products, and enable users to choose their default search service. This action is the first regulatory measure by the JFTC against a major American tech firm. Additionally, Google is facing scrutiny for allegedly obstructing Yahoo! Japan's use of its advertising technology and has been warned of fines for not opening its app store to more competition.
