How to play GTA V on PC Game Pass

‘GTA 5’: How To Keep Your Progress And Transfer Your Save To The Enhanced Edition

Players can upload their single-player save by launching the Legacy version, pausing the game, and selecting "Upload Save Game." To download the save in the Enhanced version, players must launch the Enhanced game, navigate to the Game tab, and select "Download Save Game." Transferring online progress is simpler; players just need to start GTA: Online in the Enhanced version and select their character to migrate progress. The Enhanced version is treated as a separate game, preventing players from joining friends who have not upgraded.

GTA 5 Enhanced Update 2025 pre-load size for PC, revealed

Rockstar Games announced that the GTA 5 Enhanced Update 2025 for PC will launch on March 4, 2025. Players can pre-load the update, which is approximately 91 GB on the Rockstar Games Launcher and 89 GB on Steam. The update will include features from the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions, such as HSW Performance upgrades and current-gen console-exclusive vehicles. The Enhanced Update 2025 will be free for existing PC owners of the game. Minimum and recommended system requirements have been provided, and the current PC version will continue to receive support, but players on the older version cannot play Grand Theft Auto Online with those who have updated.
