After visiting the studio I’m more excited for The Blood of Dawnwalker than ever, so it’s a relief to find out I’ll only need to wait until September 3 to play it

Old School Runescape Leagues’ regional restrictions have only fueled my love for Varlamore

Old School Runescape has introduced a new continent, Varlamore, and a Sailing update for exploration. The limited-time Leagues mode restricts access to certain areas, allowing players to unlock them progressively. The current Leagues iteration, Demonic Pacts, provides powerful Relics and an XP multiplier, enabling rapid progression through endgame content. Varlamore was launched in March 2024 and is the first starting zone designated by Jagex. Players can explore the entire region for the first time in this Leagues season. The author has unlocked five out of eight Relic tiers and is exploring new gameplay strategies, such as mining Blessed Bone Shards and engaging more with the Hunter skill. The Leagues mode has encouraged both newcomers and returning players to experience Gielinor in new ways.

This game features a sandbox experience where players control Coen, a half-human, half-vampire, on a quest to save his family and overthrow a tyrannical supernatural regime. Studio founder Konrad Tomaszkiewicz aims to bridge digital gaming and traditional pen-and-paper RPGs, drawing inspiration from various titles, including Crimson Desert and classics like Eye of the Beholder. The Blood of Dawnwalker is set to launch on September 3, 2026.
