How to stop Android apps running in the background

Experiencing unexpected battery drain on Android devices can be caused by background apps. To manage these apps and alleviate battery issues, users can activate the Adaptive Battery feature by navigating to Settings > Battery > Battery Saver > Adaptive Battery and toggling it on. Regular updates for both the Android system and applications can improve battery performance. PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, PC, Switch video games to play this week. Release dates, system requirements

This week, three new video games are being released: "Deliver At All Costs," "Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping," and "Doom: The Dark Ages." "Deliver At All Costs" features Winston Green, a courier in 1950s America, and will be available on May 22 for PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, and PC. "Duck Detective: The Ghost of Glamping," starring gumshoe Eugene McQuacklin, also launches on May 22 for PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, Switch, and PC. "Doom: The Dark Ages," part of the iconic Doom series, allows players to control the Doom Slayer in a quasi-medieval setting and is available starting May 15 on Xbox X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. All games can be played on PlayStation 5, Xbox X/S, PC, and Switch.

Copilot on Windows: “Hey, Copilot!” begins rolling out to Windows Insiders

Microsoft is rolling out an update for the Copilot app through the Microsoft Store, introducing several enhancements. A key feature is the "Hey, Copilot" wake word, allowing users to activate Copilot Voice hands-free. Users must enable this feature in the app's settings. Once activated, users can say "Hey, Copilot" followed by their query, and the Copilot interface will appear on the screen. Conversations can be ended by tapping the ‘X’ or automatically after a few moments of silence. The feature requires manual activation and will show that the microphone is in use when enabled. The wake word detection occurs locally, and no recordings are sent to the cloud until the wake word is recognized. The feature is available only in English and requires the PC to be powered on and unlocked. The update version 1.25051.10.0 and higher is being rolled out gradually to Insiders with English display language settings. Users can provide feedback through the app.

GTA 6 to release soon: Is your PC setup ready for the game?
