Fast Motion Response

AMD has introduced a new Fast Motion Response mode in its Fluid Motion Frames (AFMF) technology to enhance frame generation during rapid player movements, reducing visual blurriness. This feature is available in the latest Windows Preview Edition of PyTorch (version 25.120.01.14) and is compatible with Radeon RX 7000 and RX 9000 graphics cards. Users can choose between Repeat Frame and Blended Frame modes within the AFMF 2.1 section of the AMD Adrenalin software. The Fast Motion Response mode aims to improve the gaming experience by allowing users to dictate how the system reacts to fast movements, although concerns about potential stuttering remain. AMD is also rumored to be developing an upgraded version, AFMF 3, which may include AI-enhanced frame generation.
