Zootopia 2 had a larger opening weekend, earning 0.3 million compared to the original Zootopia's 1.1 million, and has already surpassed the original's total of 1.3 million. Globally, Zootopia 2 has exceeded 0.8 billion, while A Minecraft Movie grossed 1.2 million worldwide. The only film surpassing Zootopia 2 this year is the animated Chinese film Ne Zha 2, which has crossed the billion mark. Upcoming animated films include Hoppers, Toy Story 5, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Hexed, and Minions & Monsters.
