Firebreak is a cooperative shooter set to be released on June 17, 2025, priced at £33, developed and published by Remedy Entertainment. The game features players as 'Firebreakers,' janitors in rubber suits tasked with resolving maintenance challenges while battling the Hiss, a hostile force. It is set within The Oldest House, the headquarters of the Federal Bureau of Control, and consists of five distinct jobs with various objectives. The gameplay emphasizes trial and error, with a mix of chaotic encounters and peculiar tasks, such as repairing air conditioning units and collecting sticky notes. Firebreak has been reviewed on an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with an Nvidia 2080 Super and 32 GB RAM, and is verified for Steam Deck. The game lacks extensive tutorials, potentially disadvantaging newcomers. Balancing issues affect gameplay, with fluctuating difficulty levels and some jobs being less successful than others. A clearance system intended to enhance replayability may lead to player fatigue. Despite its current challenges, there is potential for improvement with future updates.

The game FBC: Firebreak allows players to choose from three Crisis Kits at the start, which can be switched in the loadout menu for strategic flexibility. Players engage in tasks within the Federal Bureau of Control, using the unique abilities of each kit: the Fix Kit for repairs, the Jump Kit for energizing devices, and the Splash Kit for extinguishing fires. The Fix Kit is identified as the most versatile, particularly effective during the Hot Fix job, featuring a wrench that expedites tasks, a Swivel Cannon for damage, and an ultimate upgrade that creates a whirlwind effect. The Splash Kit provides healing and fire extinguishing capabilities but is limited in job scenarios. The Jump Kit is considered less effective, with abilities that often fail to perform as intended, despite having a powerful ultimate augment.

Angelos Mako began playing Dungeon Rampage at age seven with his brother. After a decade, he sought to revive the game as a Steam title with Gamebreaking Studios, led by CEO Taylor Hellam. Initial discussions faced skepticism regarding Mako's ownership of the IP. Mako later connected with the last engineer from the original development, who revealed the game's source code was on a laptop owned by his daughter. Gamebreaking Studios partnered with Mako to update the game, which faced technical challenges due to its original use of Flash, C++, and PHP. After months of work, the game successfully booted up during a video call, leading to an emotional moment for Mako. They launched a Kickstarter campaign that surpassed its ,000 goal, and the game has over 100,000 wishlists on Steam. The revived game will be a complete, one-time purchase instead of freemium.

In late 2023, Hello Games announced its new project, Light No Fire, a fantasy adventure game expected to offer a vast, immersive world similar in size to Earth. Since the announcement, updates have been sparse, leading to community frustration and speculation on platforms like Reddit. Fans have expressed their disappointment over the lack of news, especially during events like the Summer Games Fest 2025. In the "Chase the Skies" update of Minecraft, players can find and tame a new mob called the Happy Ghast. To find a Happy Ghast, players must locate a Dried Ghast in the Soul Sand Valley biomes or obtain it through Piglin trades or crafting. They can then rehydrate the Dried Ghast in water to create a Ghastling, which is tamed by throwing a total of 10 snowballs at it. Once tamed, players can craft a harness for the Happy Ghast using 3 leather, 2 glass blocks, and 1 wool block. The Happy Ghast can carry up to four players, with the first rider controlling the flight direction. Players can dismount mid-air and stand on the Happy Ghast’s head. It can be used for aerial scaffolding, mobile transport, group travel, and creative showcases. Players are advised to build a Happy Ghast station for easier remounting. Happy Ghasts are vulnerable to fire damage and hostile ghasts, and they wander within a 32-block radius when harnessed. The harness can be removed with shears, and players have created travel systems using Happy Ghasts in minecarts.
