Mojang announced a new feature for Minecraft in 2025 that allows players to ride Ghasts, including Dried Ghasts, Ghastlings, and Happy Ghasts. Dried Ghasts can be found in the Soul Sand Valleys of the Nether Dimension and evolve into Ghastlings when provided with water. Ghastlings require snowballs to transform into Happy Ghasts, which are large enough to ride. Players can attach a harness to these creatures, who wear goggles to indicate readiness for flight, enabling players to explore various biomes and navigate the terrain more easily.
