Google has taken legal action against two individuals, Yunfeng Sun and Hongnam Cheung, for allegedly orchestrating a cryptocurrency scam through fraudulent Android applications. The scammers used social engineering tactics to deceive victims into investing in counterfeit apps, resulting in Google taking down 87 counterfeit apps downloaded over 100,000 times globally.
