Co-op survival game Icarus is celebrating 153 consecutive weekly updates by giving you a flamethrower and a free weekend

Icarus, a co-op survival game developed by RocketWerkz, has received 153 updates since its launch in December 2021. The latest update introduces a flamethrower and expands the game with new operations, missions, weapons, items, and a fishing system. Downloadable content has doubled the game map size. Players navigate a narrative involving corporate ambition and survival challenges on a planet with toxic air and unpredictable weather. The game allows for building homesteads and farming. To celebrate the update, Icarus is offering a 50% discount on the flamethrower and other editions for a week.

Weekend PC Game Deals: Demo festivals, early Halloween sales, Atari classics, and more

The Humble Store is offering the Atari Recharged Retro Revival Bundle, which includes Asteroids: Recharged, Centipede: Recharged, and Black Widow: Recharged for a low price. Additional tiers unlock more classic games like Breakout, Yars, Gravitar, Missile Command Recharged, Caverns of Mars, Bezerk, and Quantum, with Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration available at a higher tier. This bundle will be available for nearly three weeks. The Epic Games Store is giving away Invincible Presents: Atom Eve and Kardboard Kings until October 24, coinciding with the next free offering, Moving Out. Valve’s Steam Next Fest runs until October 21, allowing players to explore demos of upcoming titles, while Paradox is offering a free weekend for Europa Universalis IV until October 23. Several stores are running Halloween sales with discounts on horror titles, including Armored Core, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and the Steins;Gate franchise. The GOG store has concluded its autumn sale but continues to offer various DRM-free specials featuring story-rich experiences and classic titles from the 2000s.

Weekend PC Game Deals: Space fests, Larian specials, and fresh choices

The Humble Choice for September 2024 includes eight new games: Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Stranded: Alien Dawn, Coral Island, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, Lost Eidolons, Astrea: Six-Sided Oracles, InfraSpace, and You Suck at Parking - Complete Edition, available for .99. Subscribers will also receive an alpha playtest invite for Rue Valley. The Epic Games Store is giving away Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts and Football Manager 2024 until September 12, with next week's free games being Rugrats: Adventures in Gameland and Super Crazy Rhythm Castle. Humble launched the Summer Narrative Celebration Bundle, featuring Suzerain, Death and Taxes, and Genesis Noir, among others. An open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available this weekend, along with a free weekend for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game on Steam. Steam is hosting a games festival focused on space exploration, with discounts on various titles. The GOG store's Back To School sale features nearly 6,000 games.
