Microsoft has added over 400 games to the Xbox app, including titles like Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove and Jackbox Party Pack, with contributions from Japanese developers Kemco and Kairosoft. Approximately 100 of these titles support the Xbox Play Anywhere initiative, allowing gamers to transition between Xbox console and PC. Additionally, Microsoft is testing direct-to-cloud controllers and enhancing streaming service visual quality. Plaion has entered into a publishing agreement with Skydance to develop the game Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, which is set to launch in 2025. The game is being developed by Skydance New Media, led by Amy Hennig. The announcement was made during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) at Epic's event. Plaion CEO Klemens Kundratitz expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, highlighting its significance in the gaming industry. Skydance Games co-president Julian Beak stated that Plaion is the ideal publishing partner for the game's worldwide release.
