Rebel Wolves has released a new gameplay demo for The Blood of Dawnwalker, incorporating significant changes based on player feedback. The studio, made up of former CD Projekt Red developers, has generated excitement for this RPG. The demo features the quest 'A Monk and a Saint,' where the protagonist, Coen, seeks a legendary sword. Players experience different scenarios depending on whether Coen is in human form during the day or as a vampire at night. In the daytime, Coen investigates an asylum and confronts a Murohn, using the Compel Soul hex to communicate with the deceased. The gameplay allows for real-time decision-making without pausing the choice menu, similar to The Witcher 3. A second camera option has been added based on player feedback for a wider view during combat and exploration. The Blood of Dawnwalker is set to release in 2026.

The debate over the aesthetics of cosmetics in modern FPS games, particularly in Battlefield 6, focuses on whether to adopt a tactical or 'tacti-cool' approach. As Season 1 progresses, early impressions suggest that the new cosmetics largely maintain a realistic military style, with designs like the Unflinching and Regiment skins aligning closely with the original launch aesthetics. However, some skins, such as the Fearmonger and Samhain, introduce more flamboyant elements reminiscent of styles seen in Call of Duty. Despite these extravagant designs, most new skins integrate well with Battlefield 6's visual identity. EA's goal for Battlefield 6 as a successful live service may lead to a demand for broader appeal in future skins, with Season 2 expected to introduce new designs in the new year.
