Steam's analysis shows that 14% of playtime was spent on titles released in 2023, down from 15% in 2022, while 44% of playtime was on games released between 2018 and 2024, and 40% on older titles. These statistics account for 98% of total playtime, leaving 2% unaccounted for, potentially including time spent on demos or browsing. Users can access their Steam Replay at store.steampowered.com/replay or through the Steam desktop app, with options to share their statistics publicly.

While Epic's Easy Anti-Cheat supports Linux, it lacks full kernel-level functionality, leading to some games withdrawing support for Linux. CEO Tim Sweeney has expressed skepticism about supporting Fortnite on the Steam Deck until it has a substantial user base. Despite challenges with the Epic Games Store, Epic remains focused on platforms that can deliver significant revenue, particularly as the Windows on Arm segment grows.
