Longdue, a newly established studio, plans to create a role-playing game inspired by Disco Elysium, featuring a team of former members from Studio ZA/UM. The project, still untitled, is described as a "psychogeographic RPG" that will explore the relationship between the conscious and subconscious, with player choices affecting both character mental states and environments. The game will adopt an isometric perspective, similar to Disco Elysium and Planescape: Torment. Key figures from ZA/UM, such as writer Robert Kurvitz and artist Aleksander Rostov, are not involved in Longdue. The gaming landscape around Disco Elysium is complex, with Studio ZA/UM focusing on a new RPG in a different universe and the cancellation of a sequel and expansion earlier this year. The situation involves three studios—Longdue, Red Info, and ZA/UM—each connected to the RPG legacy of Disco Elysium.
