It can be found in a glowing area approximately 1000 meters from the alien observatory, at a heading of 75, marked by the remnants of an old industrial plant. Troilite is located within clumps of Mineralized Clinker, which appear as glowing mounds of scrap. Players should navigate carefully to avoid a leviathan to the east and ensure their Tadpole is upgraded for deeper dives, as accessing the area requires swimming beyond the craft's 450-meter limit. Only a small quantity of Troilite is needed for repairs.
