Little Nightmares 3, developed by Supermassive Games, is set to release on October 10, 2025. Players will navigate nightmarish landscapes, including an industrial candy factory and eerie temples, using characters with distinct abilities—Low with a bow-and-arrow and Alone with a wrench—to solve puzzles and evade threats. The game retains familiar mechanics, allowing character switching while one remains on auto-pilot for cooperative play. Visuals are praised for their atmospheric horror, though some players may find it less frightening than expected. The game performs well on various platforms, with adjustable graphical settings. The cooperative mode is exclusively online, generating excitement but also a desire for local co-op among players.

Borderlands 4's Steam user review average is currently "mixed," with a "mostly negative" rating primarily due to performance issues such as low frame rates, stuttering, and crashes, even on high-end hardware. Players have reported that upscaling technologies like DLSS may be necessary for better gameplay. A 2.7GB post-launch patch has been released, but no separate hotfix has been mentioned. Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford advised players with older hardware to have realistic expectations regarding performance. Despite the performance concerns, the game has over 192,000 concurrent players on Steam, surpassing previous titles in the series.

Doom: The Dark Ages was tested on an Alienware Area-51 gaming PC with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, achieving 155 frames per second at Ultra Nightmare settings and 4K resolution without DLSS. With DLSS 4 x4 activated, the frame rate increased to 344 fps. The Alienware setup included an Intel Ultra Core 9 285K CPU, 64GB of RAM, and a 2TB SSD. Testing with other RTX 50 series cards showed the RTX 5060 Ti reached 153 fps at 4K with DLSS 4, while the RTX 5070 Ti achieved 185 fps with DLSS 4. Players of Oblivion Remastered on the Microsoft Store, especially those with a PC Game Pass subscription, are facing issues due to a recent 2GB update aimed at fixing a cross-play problem. This update removed key upscaling options like DLSS and frame generation from the options menu for users who downloaded the game from the Windows/Xbox Store. Bethesda stated that the hotfix was meant for backend adjustments and not to affect gameplay, but players reported that DLSS and FSR options were disabled and that their graphical settings dropped from Ultra to High unexpectedly. Bethesda's community manager acknowledged the situation and mentioned that the team is investigating and plans to release a further hotfix soon.

Frame time measures the time interval between individual frames displayed on the screen, providing a more detailed view of frame consistency compared to frames per second (FPS). An ideal frame time for a game running at 60 FPS is 16.6 milliseconds per frame, and deviations can lead to stuttering. A frame time graph shows frame time in milliseconds on the vertical axis and frame number or recording time on the horizontal axis, with a flat line indicating optimal performance. Gamers often prefer consistent, lower FPS over fluctuating higher FPS for a better experience. Troubleshooting frame time issues involves examining CPU and GPU utilization and adjusting settings. Keeping video drivers updated is essential, and persistent issues may indicate problems with the game itself, as seen in titles like Gotham Knights and Elden Ring.
