Hotel Barcelona’s ‘hardcore spirit’ is inspired by the tough action games creator Swery65 worked on at the start of his career

Suda51 and Swery65 are collaborating on a video game titled Hotel Barcelona, which features a U.S. Marshal named Justine trapped in a haunted hotel filled with the spirits of notorious murderers. The game is a side-scrolling roguelite where players battle ghosts and the essence of a killer possessing Justine. It will be available on Steam and promises a blend of violence, stylish aesthetics, and narrative depth.
