Enter the Gungeon celebrated its tenth anniversary earlier this month and has sold over 14 million copies. The game's creators, Dave Crooks and Adam Kidd Drucker, expressed concerns about the evolving action roguelike genre, noting a shift towards mechanics resembling slot machines and a confusion between roguelikes and roguelites. They highlighted the rarity of authentic roguelikes and mentioned the lukewarm reception of some recent titles. Dodge Roll is currently developing Enter the Gungeon 2, which aims to maintain the original's gameplay while introducing a new 3D art style.

Fallout: New Vegas dev says it could’ve been set in New Orleans because ‘the vibe was so cool, the flavor was cool, [it would’ve been] so sweet’

Chris Avellone stated that Bethesda does not possess the source code for Fallout: New Vegas. He discussed an unfulfilled concept for a New Orleans setting in the game, featuring a plot with a private investigator and four Grendels, each with distinct characteristics. Avellone expressed interest in exploring a Fallout New Orleans. He mentioned the Fallout TV series and its potential to influence Fallout 5, confirming Bethesda's reluctance to explore San Francisco in earlier pitches. Avellone left Obsidian in 2015 due to disputes but has worked on other RPGs since then and is currently collaborating with Red Info on a new project. There are ongoing rumors about a potential remaster of New Vegas.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam PC playtest signups are now open

Team17 announced on April 16, 2026, that playtest signups for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam are now open for PC users. The game features six expansive maps, 50 vs 50 battles, and emphasizes teamwork and strategy. Players will have access to historically accurate weapons, vehicles, and tactical options, including US aerial units with helicopters, NVA forces with tunnel networks, and patrol boats for river navigation. A new trailer showcasing intense combat scenes was released during the Galaxies Showcase. Windows Vista: A Beautiful Disaster that Stole My FPS 💻🔥

Windows Vista was released in January 2007 after five years of development, following the long tenure of Windows XP since 2001. Initially, it promised a revolutionary file system, enhanced security, and improved graphics. However, a significant "Development Reset" in 2004 led to a rushed launch with many issues. Vista required a minimum of 2 GB of RAM, significantly more than Windows XP's 512 MB, causing performance problems on older computers. Many games that ran well on XP became unplayable on Vista, and users faced frequent crashes due to driver issues. The User Account Control feature was seen as intrusive and annoying. Ultimately, many users, including the author, reverted to Windows XP due to dissatisfaction with Vista, which was later followed by the more successful Windows 7 in 2009. Despite some relevant features introduced by Vista, it is often viewed as a failure compared to its predecessor.
