Tango Gameworks is considering a sequel to their 2023 title, Hi-Fi Rush. Studio head Colin Mack expressed a positive outlook on the idea of a sequel but did not make any definitive announcements. Hi-Fi Rush director John Johanas noted that many team members have a strong affection for the original game, leading to various opportunities being considered. Project manager Kazuaki Egashira emphasized the studio's commitment to innovation and evolution, stating that while Hi-Fi Rush became popular as a new IP, it should not remain the same forever.
The PlayStation 5 is about to celebrate its fourth anniversary, and a native version of Minecraft has been released on the platform. Players who own the PS4 version can upgrade for free via the PlayStation Store. The PS5 version is part of the Bedrock edition, allowing cross-platform play with PC, mobile devices, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox. It features graphical enhancements, offering 4K visuals and 60 frames per second. Additionally, the Minecraft Bedrock edition has introduced a Hardcore mode and the ability to bundle items in the inventory. Minecraft is owned by Microsoft, which is expanding its game offerings on PlayStation, including the upcoming release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle next year. Other titles like Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, and Pentiment have also been released on additional platforms, with Sea of Thieves topping the PS5 download charts.
