Microsoft has enhanced its "Stream your own game" feature, allowing Xbox Insiders to stream any Xbox game they own directly on PC. This update follows previous rollouts to TVs, browsers, and consoles. The feature is available exclusively to Xbox Insiders who are Game Pass Ultimate members and can be accessed through the Xbox PC app in 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming operates. Players can stream from over 250 supported titles without installation. The game library is expanding, though it currently does not include older Xbox and Xbox 360 titles. Microsoft is also promoting its Xbox Play Anywhere initiative, enabling gamers to purchase titles once and play them across multiple devices, including the upcoming Xbox ROG Ally Windows handhelds.

Disney's live-action Lilo & Stitch remake has grossed 7.5 million globally, making it the highest-grossing MPA film of the year. It surpassed A Minecraft Movie, which earned 4.9 million, and trails behind the Chinese animated feature Ne Zha 2, which has grossed .8 billion. Domestically, A Minecraft Movie leads with 3.9 million, while Lilo & Stitch has generated 3.7 million in the U.S. The film debuted with 2.6 million during the Memorial Day weekend and is on track to potentially become the first MPA title to surpass the billion mark this year. Disney plans a live-action sequel to Lilo & Stitch, though no release date has been confirmed. The film held the top spot at the box office for three consecutive weeks before facing competition from How to Train Your Dragon. Upcoming releases like Avatar: Fire and Ash may pose challenges to its box office performance.

Microsoft has announced a collaboration with ASUS to develop the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handheld devices, which will allow access to the Xbox library and games from platforms like Battle.net, GOG, and Steam. Xbox Insiders will have an exclusive preview of the new "aggregated gaming library" feature in the Xbox PC app for Windows 11, debuting this week. Microsoft is testing a new Xbox app for PC among Xbox Insiders, which will aggregate installed games from various third-party storefronts into a single interface. This feature will debut with the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handhelds later this year. The initiative is part of Microsoft's strategy to transition Xbox from a console-centric brand to a service-oriented platform, aligning with the Game Pass initiative for both Xbox and PC users. Microsoft is optimizing Windows 11 for third-party handheld devices instead of developing its own Xbox handheld. While a widespread launch of the aggregated library feature has not been announced, initial rollout with the ROG Ally handhelds is expected during the holiday season, with broader support potentially arriving by the end of this year or in 2026.

Microsoft is transforming the Xbox PC app into a comprehensive gaming hub for players, allowing access to a newly aggregated gaming library for Windows 11 PCs and handheld devices. Xbox Insiders in the PC Gaming Preview will gain early access to this feature, which will debut on the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X during the holiday season. The update aims to consolidate games from various platforms, including Game Pass and Battle.net, into a single interface. When a game is installed from a supported PC storefront, it will automatically appear in the Xbox PC app's 'My library' and 'Most recent' list. Users can curate their libraries by hiding or excluding specific storefronts. Currently, this rollout is exclusive to the Xbox Insider Program. Microsoft is also rumored to be working on unifying its console, PC, and handheld platforms.

Mewgenics, an "endless cat breeding RPG," will now be released on February 10, 2026, instead of the originally planned 2025 launch. Creator Edmund McMillen cited strategic planning as the reason for the delay, aiming to avoid competition with holiday releases. The additional eight months will allow the team to complete significant development tasks, including the animation of the final boss, integration of hard path rewards and random generation items, creation of ten new cutscenes, commissioning of three new music tracks, implementation of alternative and shiny furniture, and the completion of a secret late-game system. McMillen plans to engage fans with live streams and previews starting in January.
