Weekend PC Game Deals: Rhythm bundles, fishing festivals, and DRM-free summer sales

The Humble Store has launched its June Tunes collection, which includes three pricing tiers: the first tier features Wanderson, Everhood, and Onde; the second tier includes Rhythm Fighter, One Btn Bosses, and Oddada; and the top tier showcases Trombone Champ, DJMAX RESPECT V, and Ragnarock. Additionally, Humble has introduced the Serenity Forge Storyteller's Bundle, consisting of 12 indie games like LISA the Joyful, LISA the Painful, Neversong, Death's Gambit, and Smile for Me, divided into three pricing tiers. The Epic Games Store is offering The Operator for free until June 26, replacing Two Point Hospital. Three games are available for free weekend access: Victoria 3, Len's Island, and Dead by Daylight. The GOG store has started its summer sale with thousands of DRM-free games at reduced prices.

Microsoft Weekly: redesigned Windows 11 Start menu, Xbox handheld is here, and more

Microsoft has released Patch Tuesday updates for June 2025, with Windows 10 receiving KB5060533 and Windows 11 receiving KB5060842 and KB5060999. The Windows Insider Program has unveiled several new builds, including a redesigned Start menu in build 26200.5641 and various enhancements in other builds. Microsoft has introduced Copilot Vision with Highlights for Windows, currently available in the U.S. for two applications. A quirky bug in the latest builds causes Windows 11 to play the Windows Vista startup sound. Microsoft Edge received an update in the Dev Channel, while Firefox rolled out version 139.0.4. Microsoft announced enhancements to Outlook and OneDrive for Mac. New Xbox handhelds, the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, were unveiled, optimized for gaming. Steam's Next Fest allows free trials of hundreds of games until June 16, 2025, and the Epic Games Store is offering Two Point Hospital for free.

Valve's Steam Next Fest is running until June 16, featuring demos of upcoming games, along with several active free events, including Stardeus, Barony, Hell Let Loose, Construction Simulator, and Towerborne. The Steam Summer Sale is approaching, with significant promotions already launched by various publishers, including a Total War historical sale and early summer promotions from 505 Games. Tormented Souls II demo for PC now available

Publisher PQube and developer Dual Effect have released a demo for Tormented Souls II on PC via Steam. The demo features about 60 minutes of gameplay, starting with Caroline Walker and her sister Anna's journey to Villa Hess, a clinic in southern Chile. Upon arrival, Anna goes missing, leading Caroline to confront captors and a sinister plan involving the Wildberger twins. Caroline's character design has evolved, featuring a blood-red dress and rugged leather jacket, reflecting her growth as a protective older sister. Tormented Souls II is set to launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC in 2025.

Arkane’s Deathloop Is Free For A Week On The Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store will offer three free games: Deathloop, Ogu and the Secret Forest, available until June 12, 2025, and Two Point Hospital, which will be free from June 12-19. Deathloop is developed by Arkane Lyon, and Ogu and the Secret Forest is created by Sinkhole Studio and Moonlab Studio. These titles replace Tiny Tina's Wonderland and Limbo, which were available previously. The giveaway is part of the Epic Games Store's 2025 Mega Sale, which started on May 15.
