Yamaguchi City-based developer Jacob Honda has announced their new project, CLASS 3, THIRD GRADE, a first-person escape adventure game set to launch on PC via Steam in March for .99 or 680 yen, with no specific release date yet. The game will be available in English and Japanese. Development team leader Makoto Nishizaki described it as aimed at the “ice age generation,” focusing on childhood memories and experiences. Players assume the role of the protagonist, “I,” who experiences dreams of their childhood while navigating adult life. The gameplay involves solving puzzles in a nostalgic childhood room to escape and confront past memories. Key features include a 1980s-inspired game world, multiple endings based on player choices, and a narrative that resonates with a broader audience.
