The Fortnite Overwatch collab is playing it safe, but at least it’s finally real

Fortnite has collaborated with Overwatch, introducing characters Tracer, Mercy, D.Va, and Genji into the game. This collaboration is part of the tenth-anniversary celebrations of Overwatch. The characters are featured in a trailer where they confront the Ice King's forces, with notable lines such as "Heroes never die" from Mercy and "The cavalry's here!" from Tracer. D.Va uses a sword instead of her mech suit, and Genji remains silent. The collaboration will include four new Fortnite skins, three emotes, new weapons, fresh landmarks, Overwatch NPCs in battle royale mode, quests and rewards, and a Porsche Cayenne SUV with Overwatch decals.
