Strange Antiquities is the sequel to Bad Viking's puzzle game, Strange Horticulture, and offers a more comprehensive experience with an expanded map and enhanced gameplay elements. The game introduces a substantial index filled with scientific terminology and specialized books, requiring players to actively seek clues and identify items. The detective aspect is amplified, as players must navigate back and forth to uncover information without always being given item names. The co-founders of Bad Viking, John and Rob Donkin, decided to create a sequel due to player demand and aimed to build upon the original's success while introducing more depth and detective elements. Strange Antiquities is available on Steam.

The Google Play Store has introduced a new ‘Widgets’ filter to help users find apps that support widgets, addressing the difficulty in locating such applications. A visual badge will indicate widget support on app listings, simplifying the identification process for users. Additionally, a dedicated section will highlight top widget-powered apps across various categories. These enhancements are available on Android devices, including phones, tablets, and foldables, but not for users accessing the Play Store via desktop or laptop.

New Mexico has allowed residents to store their driver’s licenses and state IDs in Google Wallet, becoming the sixth state to do so after California, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, and Maryland. Physical identification is still necessary for law enforcement and age verification, but many businesses and TSA checkpoints are using the NM Verifier app for smartphone-based verification. Google Wallet will soon introduce digital passport IDs, enabling users to store a digital version of their U.S. passport. Users can create a digital U.S. passport ID by selecting the option in Google Wallet and following on-screen instructions. Travelers are advised to continue carrying physical IDs until digital IDs are more widely accepted and to check the TSA’s map for supported states and airports when planning domestic flights.
