OnePlus will continue software updates, all devices move to ColorOS with Android 17

OnePlus will discontinue its OxygenOS interface and transition to Oppo's ColorOS, starting with the rollout of Android 17 updates across all active OnePlus devices. Users will have the option to voluntarily update to ColorOS, which aims to streamline software development and improve update delivery and quality. Older OnePlus models not eligible for the Android 17 update will still receive maintenance support for existing OxygenOS versions. Users who update to ColorOS will have the option to roll back to OxygenOS. OnePlus has assured that all existing devices will continue to receive software updates and security patches. Additionally, Realme has also confirmed its transition to ColorOS with the Android 17 update.

Windows Netlogon Flaw CVE-2026-41089: CVSS 9.8 [2026]

CVE-2026-41089 is a critical vulnerability in the Windows Netlogon service, rated 9.8 on the CVSS scale, allowing unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary code with SYSTEM-level privileges on domain controllers. It affects all supported versions of Windows Server configured as domain controllers, from Windows Server 2012 R2 to the latest release. Microsoft addressed this vulnerability on May 12, 2026, during a broader update that included 138 fixes, but it went largely unnoticed until early June when active exploitation was confirmed. The vulnerability is characterized as a stack-based buffer overflow and is considered "wormable" due to its ability to self-propagate across systems without user intervention. Amnesia's relay facilitates communication without retaining user accounts or histories, and its design minimizes durable information to reduce risks. The project is currently an architectural concept and an early prototype, not ready for production or sensitive communications.

Packaging design included a golden treasure chest for the Minecraft Movie Meal and three variations of Happy Meal boxes. Customers could scan toys to unlock in-game skins for Minecraft and participate in a digital treasure chest quest related to the movie.
