A developer named angelthebox has created a Minecraft server called Macerun that runs on the ESP32-S3 microcontroller, using Minecraft version 1.16.5 rewritten in C. Key features include the ability for players to join the server, explore the world, place and break blocks, procedural world chunk generation, basic crafting mechanics with 2x2 recipes, in-game chat, and tracking of basic physics, health, and hunger. Changes to blocks are saved to the chip's flash memory. However, the server lacks mobs, 3x3 crafting recipes, and the ability to retain player inventories and positions after exiting. The source code is available on the Macerun GitHub page.

Microsoft is transitioning from Bluetooth Classic Audio to Bluetooth LE Audio for Bluetooth headphone users on Windows 11, enhancing sound quality and microphone use, particularly for gamers. Both the PC and headphones must support the specific LE Audio standard, and users can check compatibility through a Microsoft support document. Users need to run the latest Windows 11 version (24H2 update) and have a compatible Bluetooth audio driver. Many existing PC models will receive driver updates later this year. Most new laptops launched by late 2025 are expected to have this Bluetooth sound capability integrated.

Console commands, also known as cheats, are text inputs that players can enter into the in-game chat box to activate or deactivate various features in Minecraft. These commands were initially designed for developers but remain accessible to players, enhancing gameplay. To use cheats, players must ensure that console commands are enabled in the options menu, which varies based on the game edition and whether the player is in a private world, Realm, or multiplayer server. Players can check available commands by typing “/” in the chat bar. Examples of commands include: - /tp: Teleport a player to specific coordinates - /experience add: Add experience points to a player Using these commands can facilitate building and survival in the game.

Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced has launched, featuring improved visuals, quicker loading times, and enhanced audio. It is available on PC through the Rockstar Games Launcher and Steam, but not on the Epic Games Store. Existing PC owners can upgrade for free, while new players can purchase it for .99, with promotional discounts available. A significant drawback is the absence of in-game text chat, a feature confirmed by Rockstar not to be supported at launch, leading players to rely on platform chat or SMS for communication. This removal has raised concerns about the future of in-game chat in the franchise, particularly with the anticipated release of GTA 6, speculated for late 2025. Rockstar has established an official Discord channel for GTA 6, indicating a shift towards alternative communication methods.
