Microsoft has enhanced the user experience of its Edge browser by integrating Chrome extensions and promoting its redesigned Edge Add-ons website, which improves navigation and usability. The updated site features enhanced autosuggestions for finding and installing extensions, including a "Get" button for direct installation. While Edge can run Google Chrome extensions, some users prefer the Edge Add-ons store for a Microsoft-centric experience. Certain extensions remain exclusive to the Chrome Web Store, as developers often prioritize Chrome due to its larger market share. Users can access these extensions through the Chrome Web Store on various Chromium-based browsers, including Edge. Currently, extensions like uBlock Origin work on Edge, but their future compatibility is uncertain.

Operating systems significantly influence user interactions with computers, accommodating various preferences. Windows is the most widely used operating system for traditional desktops but has several productivity limitations: 1. Windows installations often come with excessive pre-installed applications (bloatware), unlike macOS and most Linux distributions, which have minimal bloatware. 2. Windows lacks built-in productivity software, requiring users to purchase Microsoft Office or use alternatives, while macOS includes basic applications and Linux offers LibreOffice for free. 3. Windows does not have an integrated local file-sharing solution comparable to Apple's AirDrop, making file transfers between devices more cumbersome. 4. Keyboard and touchpad shortcuts in Windows are less intuitive and consistent compared to macOS, which can hinder productivity for users accustomed to macOS gestures. 5. Windows is a primary target for malware due to its widespread use, leading to a higher risk of system compromise compared to macOS and Linux, which encounter less malware.

To install Epic Games on an Android device, go to epicgames.com, tap Install, select Install on Android, and hit Download anyway if a warning pops up. Make sure you are on the official website. Chrome may suggest it can't install the file, so adjust settings to allow permission. Samsung or Google devices may prevent installation, follow phone instructions to bypass this. After installation, log in as usual.

The Amazon Appstore, introduced in March 2011 for Android phones and tablets, will be discontinued for Android devices on August 20, 2025. Users will no longer be able to download or install applications from the Appstore on Android devices, and there is no guarantee that previously installed apps will continue to function after this date. The Appstore will remain operational for Fire Tablet and Fire TV devices. Users could previously synchronize app purchases across devices, but this feature will end with the discontinuation. The Appstore initially offered a "free app of the day" promotion, and many users may have older paid apps linked to their Amazon accounts, which will only be accessible via Amazon Fire devices after August. Amazon is allowing a six-month period for users to adapt and cancel subscriptions tied to the Appstore. Additionally, Amazon is phasing out Amazon Coins, with purchases ending on February 20, 2025, but users can use remaining balances until August 20, 2025, after which unspent Coins will be refunded.

- The aPS3e PS3 emulator on Android has no settings menu and requires manually moving .rap files to a specific directory for most games to work. - Only four out of 17 games tested were playable on the emulator, with some crashing at launch and others failing to install. - The emulator may vary in performance depending on the device used, and the developer's track record is questionable. - The breakthrough with aPS3e may inspire other developers to work on similar projects for Android emulation.
