Microsoft has released Windows 11 26H2 as a low-disruption update that activates existing features for users who have kept up with monthly updates. Users on version 24H2 should upgrade soon, as support will end on October 13, 2026, and they will no longer receive security patches. The end of support for various Windows 11 versions is as follows: 26H2 on October 9, 2028; 26H1 on March 14, 2028; 25H2 on October 12, 2027; and 24H2 on October 13, 2026. The 26H2 update includes new security features, Start menu customization, and improvements to File Explorer and AI integration. Users must have 24H2 or 25H2 installed to access the update, which may not be available to all devices due to compatibility safeguards. Google has introduced a new app called Antigravity to the Play Store, specifically designed for the Googlebook OS and not for traditional Android devices. Antigravity is described as an agent-first development platform for Googlebooks, allowing users to create and manage applications directly on the device. The Play Store indicates that regular Android devices are incompatible with Antigravity. Attempts to sideload the app onto a Pixel phone revealed significant limitations, including a poorly scaled interface and a failure during the onboarding process due to a permission-denial error. Other Googlebook-specific applications, such as Look Up and Desktop Camera, have also appeared in the Play Store. The first Googlebooks are set to launch in the U.S. on October 4.

The Google Play Store has introduced several enhancements to improve the app installation and update experience for users. Key features include: 1. Per-app auto-update control: Users can now enable or disable auto-updates for individual apps, allowing essential apps to remain on stable versions while less critical ones update automatically. 2. Built-in download manager shortcut: A new circular icon on the Apps and Games pages provides access to a list of recently installed or updated apps, showing timestamps and allowing users to launch apps directly from this list. 3. Auto-open when ready: A toggle that, when activated, launches an app automatically after installation, accompanied by a notification with a countdown timer for user intervention. 4. Viewing changelogs without opening app pages: Users can now view update changelogs directly from the app management screen without navigating to each app's store listing, enhancing efficiency in reviewing updates. These features collectively enhance user control and transparency in app management.

Hytale is a voxel-based sandbox game with detailed hardware requirements that include minimum, recommended, and 'streamer' specifications. The minimum requirements allow for casual gameplay, while the recommended requirements enhance performance for a smoother experience. The streamer requirements are high-end specifications aimed at content creators for optimal performance. An Intel HD Graphics 630 can achieve approximately 30–34 FPS at 1080p on low settings, while an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D and NVIDIA RTX 5080 can sustain around 400 FPS at 3840×1440 resolution while recording gameplay. The game is expected to require 100 GB of storage, and its early access launch is anticipated in January 2026.
