A dedicated development team, linifadomra, is working on a PC port of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess titled "Courage Reborn." They recently showcased a playable version of the Ordon Village section, demonstrating that the game is designed to run at a native 60 frames per second. The demo features functioning core systems, including NPC interactions, combat mechanics, and horseback riding. The game will support keyboard and mouse setups as well as controller configurations, and will be compatible with PC, Mac, and Linux platforms. The main menu will offer new graphical options for customization. The project has been in development since 2025, and while significant progress has been made, it remains incomplete, with no release date announced. Players will need a ROM of the original GameCube version to run the PC port.

Redfall, developed by Arkane Austin, was released in May 2023 and faced criticism for its open world, AI, and shooting mechanics. Following its launch, Arkane attempted to address these issues but was ultimately closed by Microsoft a year later. Before its closure, the studio released patch 1.4, which introduced a Community Standing system that allows players to enhance their skills through community tasks. This patch aimed to improve gameplay by encouraging exploration and interaction with the environment, offering rewards like fortified safehouse defenses and new abilities. Despite these improvements, core issues such as unsatisfactory combat and shallow NPC interactions persisted, limiting the game's narrative depth and player engagement.

Google Translate is integrated into various Android applications, improving multilingual communication. Gboard and Circle to Search allow users to translate on-screen content easily. Users can access Circle to Search by tapping and holding the bottom bar or home button, then select the Translate icon to translate everything displayed. Gboard users can access translation by tapping the icon with four squares, dragging the Translate icon to the shortcuts bar, and selecting their desired language to type in the translator text box. The Motorola Razr Ultra 2025, while lacking some advanced features, still provides a reliable translation experience. Switching languages mid-conversation is generally understood by friends, facilitating smoother communication.

The Windows Insider Program is undergoing changes to improve user experience based on feedback from the community. The channel structure will be simplified into two main options: Experimental and Beta. The Experimental channel will provide early access to features under development, while the Beta channel will showcase features planned for near-term release without gradual rollouts. Users will have the option to select specific Windows core versions and enable or disable features through a new Feature flags page. Additionally, transitioning between channels will now allow for in-place upgrades, preserving apps and settings, except when moving from Experimental Future Platforms. All Insiders will be transitioned to either the new Beta or Experimental channel, with specific transitions outlined for current users in the Beta, Dev, and Canary channels. Commercial customers will see similar changes, while those in the Windows Server Insider Program will not experience alterations.

The Minecraft Java snapshot, named Chaos Cubed, introduces the Sulfur Caves biome, featuring Sulfur Springs and blocks of Sulfur and Cinnabar. It includes a new block called Potent Sulfur, which generates gas bubbles causing nausea and can be crafted from nine regular Sulfur blocks. A new mob, the Sulfur Cube, can absorb nearby blocks and transform into a ball-like state, with nine behavior types affecting its interactions. Adjustments have been made to Beds and Slime Blocks, allowing Slime Blocks to continuously bounce mobs when air drag is removed. The rendering system has transitioned from OpenGL to Vulkan for optimized graphics processing, while OpenGL remains available for older hardware. The snapshot is available for Java edition users and can be tested in the Bedrock preview, with a full release expected in June.

Windows 11 has faced criticism from users due to controversial Copilot AI features and changes that have compromised functionality, including a redesigned Start menu, a fragmented settings application, and a slower file explorer. Microsoft is responding to user feedback, with Design Director Diego Baca acknowledging issues with the Start menu's performance and stating that "search performance + predictability" is a focus. Partner Director of Design March Rogers confirmed that they are working on migrating legacy Control Panel features to the modern Settings app while ensuring compatibility with various devices and drivers. Users have mixed reactions, particularly concerned about the potential removal of the Control Panel before the new settings are fully functional. Despite the discontent, Windows remains a reliable experience for many users compared to alternatives like Linux.
