Holidaymakers have been warned that travel disruption may continue this weekend as airlines recover from one of the biggest IT crashes in recent years. More than 5,078 flights were cancelled globally on Friday, with 338 flights in and out of the UK affected. Travel chaos is expected to continue throughout the weekend. Airlines and airports around the world are resuming operations, with some still facing issues. The software update that caused the disruption came from the US cybersecurity company CrowdStrike.
