Microsoft released July 2024 Patch Tuesday updates for Windows 10 and Windows 11, addressing various issues and vulnerabilities. The update for Windows 11 includes a fix for a broken Taskbar. Microsoft also addressed a major issue affecting Windows 10 and 11 users by releasing Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) updates to fix a Secure Boot bypass vulnerability. Users may encounter an error message when attempting to install the WinRE update, and Microsoft has released updates to address this issue. The company emphasized that the WinRE update may not be necessary under certain conditions, such as insufficient free space on the WinRE recovery partition or if the WinRE image is already up to date.
