Nuketown will return in Black Ops 7 as Nuketown 2025, launching on November 20, 2025, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT. The map features a familiar layout with two buildings at either end and vehicles in the center, including a moving truck. The aesthetic has been updated with cyborgs replacing mannequins and a sleek metallic design for the buildings. The traditional Jeep has been replaced by a Hydro Car, and the old wooden sign is now an electronic board with a TV screen. The RC-XD Shortcut will also return, allowing players to navigate the map undetected. Players are advised to level up their weapons and consult the guide to the Black Ops 7 Prestige system for optimal gameplay.

A recent clip from the Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 event features professional player Simp showcasing a new killstreak reward called The Gravemaker, a sniper rifle that can shoot through solid walls. This feature has elicited mixed reactions, with some players humorously suggesting that Activision is addressing cheating by incorporating wallhacking into the game. There is growing frustration among players regarding the evolution of killstreaks and scorestreaks, leading to calls for playlists without such features for a more balanced experience. The introduction of the wallhack sniper rifle has caused some players to reconsider their loyalty to the franchise, especially with Battlefield 6 being marketed as a more grounded alternative. While some players appreciate the unique mechanics of Call of Duty, the overall impression is that Black Ops 7 has not made a significant impact, and concerns about game balance persist.
