Apple has introduced the M3 MacBook laptops with a starting price of 9 for a model equipped with 8GB of RAM. Additional RAM upgrades cost 0 for each 8GB increment and are not user-serviceable after purchase. Apple claims that 8GB RAM is sufficient for most users, despite skepticism from technical experts. Comparatively, the Surface Pro 9 offers 16GB of RAM at a similar price. The debate continues on the value proposition of Apple's laptops in relation to RAM.
