Valve’s Android Compatibility Tool Designed for the Steam Frame Goes Open-Source

Valve has made Lepton, the compatibility layer for running Android games on the Steam Frame, open-source. The project is available on Valve's GitLab repository and aims to assist game developers in bringing their VR Android games to the Steam Frame. Lepton combines Valve's proprietary code with components from Waydroid, Anbox, Halium, and Hybris, as well as portions of the AOSP. Open-source developers may utilize Lepton's code, adapt it for various applications, or fork the project to introduce new features or optimize its functionality.

90% of APAC Gen Z Experienced Cyber Incidents: Kaspersky Study

Recent research from Kaspersky highlights that 57% of Generation Z spends more time online than offline, with 75% of APAC Gen Zs using smartphones for daily internet access. Kaspersky emphasizes the need for cybersecurity measures to be integrated into daily routines and has introduced an interactive game to raise awareness among Gen Z users. The study surveyed 7,200 respondents across 18 countries in March 2026.

Russia Seeks New Charges Against Teenager Accused of Blowing Up FSB Building in Minecraft

Russia is intensifying its legal pursuit of Nikita Uvarov, a teenager arrested in June 2020 in Kansk for distributing political leaflets targeting the FSB.
