‘Minecraft’ movie-themed meals, collectibles coming to a McDonald’s near you. What to know

McDonald's will launch "Collector's Meals," also known as adult Happy Meals, on April 1, coinciding with the release of “A Minecraft Movie.” The meals will include options for adults and children, featuring a Big Mac or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, fries, a drink, and a collectible item. A limited-edition condiment, Nether Flame Sauce, will accompany the Chicken McNuggets meal. The Happy Meal will include a choice of a Hamburger or Chicken McNuggets, fries, apple slices, a drink, and one of 12 film-inspired figurines, along with a scannable code for an exclusive digital game. Customers will receive one of 12 Block World toys or six exclusive collectibles, each with a matching card and a redeemable code for the Minecraft Marketplace. Additionally, purchasing a meal through the McDonald's app will provide a code for the McDonald’s Add-On pack in Minecraft.

How to restore a more classic Start menu to Windows 11

The Open-Shell-Menu utility allows users to restore the classic Start menu in Windows 11, reminiscent of Windows 7. It is lightweight and free to use, but may trigger browser warnings during installation. To install, users can run the command winget install --id Open-Shell.Open-Shell-Menu in an elevated Command Prompt. After installation, users can configure the Start menu by accessing Open-Shell Menu Settings, where they can choose from different styles, including Classic, Classic with two columns, and Windows 7 style. Users can also customize the Start button and select a skin, with the Windows Aero option recommended for a cohesive desktop experience. The utility includes features for modifying the Start menu items and reintroduces the classic bar for File Explorer. Users can disable the Classic Explorer Bar if desired.

McDonald’s launching Minecraft adult Happy Meal and ‘exclusive collectible’ toys

McDonald's will introduce its first "adult Happy Meal" in collaboration with Minecraft, launching "A Minecraft Movie Meal" in the UK and Ireland on March 26. The meal includes a Big Mac or a choice of nine McNuggets or four Veggie Dippers, a side, and a drink, along with one of six collectible toys featuring McDonald’s characters in Minecraft style. New menu items will include the Apple Cake McFlurry and a limited-edition Nether Flame sauce. The Minecraft movie, directed by Jared Hess, is set to release on April 4.
