Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds “Minecraft Pack” Now Available

Players can now join characters from Minecraft, including Steve, Alex, and the Creeper, in Sonic Racing Crossworlds. An in-game Minecraft Festival will occur from October 9th at 8:00 PM (ET) until October 12th at 7:59 PM (ET), offering a racing experience with various prizes. The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds - Minecraft Pack features playable characters, a minecart vehicle, a Minecraft World track, remixed Minecraft music, six unique emotes per character, and additional immersive sound effects.

Super Mario Bros. Remastered Got Cool Minecraft & Sonic Packs

In July 2025, Super Mario Bros. Remastered was launched for PC as a fan-driven remake of the NES classic, featuring enhanced physics, audio, and graphics. The remastered version includes The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. Special, and a revamped All Night Nippon: Super Mario Bros. A Minecraft Pack was released, transforming the game's aesthetics into a Minecraft-inspired experience, while another resource pack echoes the graphics of New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Wii. A mod also allows players to experience the game in a style reminiscent of Super Mario Land, and an 8-bit Sonic pack replaces Mario sprites with Sonic's, maintaining the original level designs and music. Super Mario Bros. Remastered is available for download, along with the New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Sonic packs.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – Minecraft Pack Launch Trailer Shared

Sonic Racing Adds Minecraft Pack DLC

Sega has released the Minecraft Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, available on all gaming platforms. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the new content as part of the Season Pass for .99, while the standalone Minecraft Pack is priced at .99. Players without the pack can still compete online against those who have it. The Minecraft Pack features playable characters Steve, Alex, and a creeper, a Minecart Vehicle, six unique decals for the vehicle, the Minecraft World Course, five original Minecraft music tracks, remixes of classic tracks, and six distinct emotes for each character. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds allows vehicle customization, gadget unlocking, and power-up deployment, supporting cross-platform matchmaking for up to 12 racers. The game includes various modes such as Grand Prix, World Match, customizable Friend Matches, Time Trials, and Race Park. Local split-screen multiplayer supports up to four players. A new Rival System adds competitive elements during Grand Prix events. The game is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch, with a version for the Nintendo Switch 2 planned for digital release in late 2025 and physical release in early 2026.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Releases New Minecraft Pack

SEGA has launched a new Minecraft Pack for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, featuring four new racers: Steve, Alex, and Creeper. Players can race on the Minecraft World course, which includes the Overworld and encounters with the Ender Dragon. The pack introduces the minecart vehicle and a variety of remixed Minecraft music, sounds, emotes, and decals. The Minecraft Pack is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition's Season Pass or can be purchased separately for .99. Players without the pack can still compete online against those who have it. The pack features original tracks and remixes based on Minecraft themes.

The Standard Edition players can purchase the Season Pass separately for .99. The Minecraft Pack includes playable characters Steve, Alex, and a creeper, a Minecart Vehicle, six unique decals, a Minecraft World Course, five original Minecraft music tracks, remixes of classic tracks, and six emotes. A Minecraft Festival in-game event will occur from October 9 to October 11. The Season Pass also features characters and content from SpongeBob SquarePants, PAC-MAN, Mega Man, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available on multiple platforms, with a digital version for Nintendo Switch 2 launching in holiday 2025 and a physical copy in early 2026. Existing Nintendo Switch users can upgrade for a fee. A single-player demo is available on various platforms, allowing save data transfer to the full game, excluding Time Trial records and user settings changes.
