The Copper Age is the latest update in the Minecraft universe, expected to launch sometime in 2025. It introduces the Copper Golem, which can be summoned by placing a carved pumpkin on a copper block, and features a sorting mechanism for items. The Golem oxidizes over time and can be transformed into a statue, which can be posed and reawakened. The update includes a complete set of Copper tools (Pickaxe, Axe, Hoe, Shovel, Sword) that are more durable than Stone but less effective than Iron, as well as Copper armor and horse armor. Decorative blocks such as Copper Lanterns, Torches, Chains, Bars, and oxidizable Lightning Rods will also be added. A new block called the Shelf allows players to display items and swap them in their hotbar, with the capability to connect multiple shelves. Additionally, the art icons for Dyes have been refreshed for better identification.
