Google is enhancing the Google Meet app for Android by integrating AI-generated backgrounds, a feature previously available on the web version. The latest Gmail for Android version includes a "Create Background" button in the effects menu, which is expected to allow users to input text queries and select styles to generate personalized backgrounds. This customization capability is anticipated to be similar to that of the web platform. The feature is still in development, and the timeline for its official rollout is uncertain.
