Mojang announced a shift to hosting two annual Minecraft Live showcases, with the next event speculated to occur on September 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM ET, according to a detail found on the Spanish Minecraft Live webpage. However, skepticism exists regarding this date due to its prior archiving and the fact that it falls on a Monday, unlike previous events. The webpage has since been updated to reflect the March date. The Creaking, also known as the Weeping Angels, was introduced in Minecraft Java Edition 1.21.4 with the Tricky Trials update. It is the first asymmetrical entity in the game, capable of stalking players and immune to all damage except through its heart, which can be found in trees in the Pale Garden biome. The Creaking only moves when players look away, similar to the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who. It spawns at night or during thunderstorms and remains dormant within a 12-block radius of a player. To defeat the Creaking, players must locate and destroy its heart, which leaves an orange trail if the Creaking is engaged. Destroying the heart yields resin clumps, while attacking the Creaking can also drop resin clumps nearby. Players can use a Silk Touch tool to mine the heart intact for decorative use, but caution is needed to avoid spawning another Creaking.

The forthcoming Minecraft snapshot will introduce the Copper Torch, a decorative item scheduled for release in the 2025 Fall Drop. It functions like a traditional torch but features unique green textures and particles. To craft the Copper Torch, players need 1 Copper Nugget, 1 Coal, and 1 Stick. The crafting process involves placing the Copper Nugget on top, Coal in the middle, and Stick at the bottom in a Crafting Table, resulting in four Copper Torches. Copper Torches emit a light level of 14 and can be used for illumination and decoration in builds.

The Copper Lantern will be introduced in Minecraft's Fall Drop update of 2025. It serves as a decorative light source with a copper frame and a green-tinted glow. To craft the Copper Lantern, players need 8 Copper Nuggets and 1 Torch. The Copper Nuggets are made by converting a Copper Ingot, which is obtained by smelting Raw Copper. The crafting arrangement requires the Torch in the center and the Copper Nuggets surrounding it. The Copper Lantern emits a light level of 15, can be used for decoration, prevents hostile mob spawning, and develops a weathered texture over time. It can be placed on blocks or hung from structures.

Tipped arrows can inflict potion effects on both allies and enemies. They are crafted by surrounding a lingering potion with eight arrows, producing eight tipped arrows. These arrows deal standard arrow damage along with the potion effect upon impact. They can be used strategically in combat, such as using arrows of slowness against fast-moving mobs or arrows of weakness against strong foes, although some entities are immune to these effects. Tipped arrows can also provide beneficial effects like regeneration and speed to teammates, but caution is needed to avoid harming allies. In Bedrock Edition, tipped arrows can be crafted using cauldrons filled with potions. The infinity enchantment on bows does not apply to tipped arrows, and dispensers can launch tipped arrows for strategic traps.
