Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025: All the announcements in one place

Activision has released a 17-minute video detailing the co-op campaign, multiplayer enhancements, and progression elements of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which is scheduled for release on November 14. The game can be played solo or with up to four players. Other announcements include Fallout Season 2 featuring Mr. House, a Resident Evil Requiem trailer, and a demo for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion ahead of its September 5 launch. Additionally, Pac-Man will appear in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Mario Kart Arcade GP, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is set for release on October 21, Black Myth: Zhong Kui was announced, Age of Empires IV will receive a new expansion titled Dynasties of the East, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will allow players to play as a blacksmith starting September 9.

Tempest Rising’s first major update targets the Command and Conquer successor’s multiplayer, adding 6 maps, a 2v2 ranked mode, and an extensive balance overhaul

Tempest Rising has released its first major update, the "Rally and Recon" update, which enhances the multiplayer experience. Key features include a ranked mode for 2v2 matches with leaderboards and the ability to adjust the population cap for multiplayer matches from 100 to 500 units. The update also includes a comprehensive rebalance of existing units, affecting factions differently; for example, the GFD faction's spy drones are less effective, while its hunter tank is improved, and the Tempest Dynasty experiences slower resource harvesting but gains stronger second-tier units. Players are also anticipating the introduction of a third playable faction, which has only been available as an adversary in campaign mode.
