Minecraft has redesigned its baby mobs to be even cuter, and I need you to stop and look at them because they’re just too precious

Minecraft is introducing a new update that adds eight baby animals to the game, enhancing the farming experience. Additionally, Microsoft is planning a Minecraft spinoff in collaboration with Activision Blizzard.

Minecraft is introducing an update that features uniquely designed baby farm animal mobs, including baby pigs, calves, baby chickens, baby ocelots, lambs, and baby rabbits. The update includes nine different wolf pups and eleven distinct kitten types, all with new textures, models, and single pixel eyes. Players can enjoy custom sounds for these animals and craftable name tags to personalize their experience. The update is available for preview in Minecraft's Bedrock Edition and as snapshots in Java Edition.

Game Pass Adds All These Games In January 2026

This month, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can look forward to new games including Brews & Bastards, Mio: Memories in Orbit, and a My Little Pony game. GeForce NOW Kicks Off 2026 with 14 New Games Added Throughout January

NVIDIA has released its first GeForce NOW Thursday update of the year, adding new PC games to the platform. New entries include the indie game My Winter Car and four previously released titles that are now available for streaming regardless of where they were purchased. Notable titles include Banishers: Ghost of New Eden, The Casting of Frank Stone, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. Upcoming releases for January include StarRupture (Jan. 6), Pathologic 3 (Jan. 9), Quarantine Zone: The Last Check (Jan. 12), MIO: Memories in Orbit (Jan. 20), Nova Roma (Jan. 22), along with Guild Wars: Reforged, Mon Bazou, Supermarket Simulator, and Tavern Keeper. Some anticipated titles such as 2XKO, Arknights: Endfield, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, Code Vein II, and Front Mission 3 Remake are not included in this update but may be added later.

Your PC, your personality: New themes in Store for you

Microsoft has launched a new Themes department within the Microsoft Store on Windows, allowing users to easily discover and customize their devices with curated themes. The store now features over 400 themes, including more than 35 new additions, such as the Sea of Thieves theme and the World National Parks theme. League of Legends is giving every role a transformative rework as part of the best slate of changes I’ve seen in years

League of Legends will introduce a battle pass system and dynamic seasonal Rifts in 2026, with a focus on enhancing balance, game duration, and introducing new formidable monsters. The season will feature a Demacia theme, with champions receiving new skins and Morgana getting a cosmetic upgrade. Role rebalancing will include Role Quests for top laners and ADCs, with improvements such as a longer-cooldown Teleport spell for top laners and increased gold acquisition for ADCs. Mid lane players will receive new tier three boots, while junglers will have enhanced movement speed and rewards. Supports will gain a dedicated control ward spot and improved gold generation. Atakhan, the Bringer of Ruin, will be retired, replaced by the new mechanic Crystalline Overgrowth. Game time will accelerate with minions spawning sooner, and Ranked play will see reinstated Solo/Duo queues and adjusted MMR calculations. Eleven new items will be introduced, including Hextech Gunblade and Stormrazor. The season launches on January 7, with changes appearing on the PBE on December 3.
