Subnautica 2 is transitioning into "early access 2.0," featuring a new playable region with several new biomes and enhanced narrative elements related to the colonists aboard the ship Cicada. The Collector Leviathan will undergo a behavioral overhaul to become scarier. New gadgets and biomods will be introduced, including a frog chassis for the Tadpole that provides arms and legs for improved mobility. The dash feature will be integrated into the fins, simplifying gameplay by removing the need to select it as an active biomod.
