Minecraft's latest update, Mounts of Mayhem, introduces the Zombie Horse, a docile mob that can be found in the Savanna and Plains biomes, often encountered as part of a Zombie Horseman. Players can tame a Zombie Horse by defeating its Zombie rider and using Red Mushrooms to heal it. To ride the Zombie Horse, players need to craft a Saddle using 3 Leather and 1 Iron Ingot and equip it. Zombie Horses are vulnerable to sunlight, so equipping Horse Armor is recommended for protection.

The Camel Husk is an undead variant of the traditional camel in Minecraft, set to debut with the Mounts of Mayhem update. It spawns exclusively in desert biomes at night when the light level is zero, with a 10% chance of appearing with two riders: a Husk and a Parched. Camel Husks require open spaces for spawning and cannot be found in caves. To tame a Camel Husk, players must first defeat its riders and then feed it a rabbit's foot, which will result in red hearts appearing above its head. Players can ride the Camel Husk after taming it by equipping a saddle, which allows for navigation and speed bursts. Camel Husks are immune to sunlight and have a robust health bar. Breeding between Camel Husks is not possible.

A new rideable mob called the camel husk has been introduced in Minecraft, which is a variant of the existing camel. The camel husk can carry two passengers, is passive, and can be tamed easily, but players may encounter spear-wielding husks that already own them. Additionally, a new hostile mob called the parcher, a variant of the desert skeleton, poses a challenge for players trying to secure a camel husk. Mojang is also testing a feature that allows all mounts to swim, enhancing exploration in the game. These updates are currently available for testing in Minecraft Java with snapshots enabled and will soon be available in Bedrock preview and beta versions.
